Hong Kong Seafood Dinner

Hong Kong seafood is world famous. As a Hong Konger and author of this website, I am strongly recommending a seafood dinner to be included in your Hong Kong travel itinerary. Here on this page, I am going to preview a Hong Kong seafood dinner with you.

Recently our company took us for an outing to Lamma Island as part of our team building activities. To write up the day, we had a delicious seafood dinner at Lamma Hilton.

Famous Places for Hong Kong Seafood
Sai Kung – New Territories, an hour from Kowloon
Lei Yue Mun – East Kowloon, around an hour from Central
Aberdeen – Southern Hong Kong, within an hour from Central
Lamma Island – 20-minute boat trip from Central
Lau Fau Shan – around two hours from Central

Above journeys are estimation based on public transportation.

Lamma Island is highly recommended for Hong Kong Seafood
If you enjoy outing, Lamma Island is your number one choice to combine with a seafood dinner. We took the 2.30pm ferry and arrive Yung Shu Wan before 3pm. Took a leisure walk to Suk Kuo Wan where we had our seafood dinner. The journey was extremely pleasant, and easy for kids and adults, with beautiful scenery on the way.

As the seafood restaurants are all line up along the seafront next to the pier, you just need a couple of minutes' walk to return on a ferry. We took the 7.20pm ferry back to Central. Some of my colleagues even went on karaoke.

Anna’s Personal Thoughts on Hong Kong Seafood
For international travellers, it is truly a unique Hong Kong experience of choosing your favourite life seafood from the tanks. So next time when you are in Hong Kong, try to spare half a day for an outing and seafood dinner on Lamma Island.
